Abstract

In a continually changing and evolving business environment,the competitiveness of organizations rest uponthe core competencies that organization possesses. Thecore competence of many organizations is complex, involvingentire organization. One of the most important factorsregarding its transformation into a constituent is globalizationand international competition. The globalization ofthe business environment is resulting in an ever-increasingnumber of multiple cultural interactions in the organizationworkplace. Understanding the influence of culturalinteractions in organizational settings is now a fundamentalrequirement of effective management. Organizationmulticultural competence is one of the core competenceconstituents arising from above mentioned factors.This paper is concerned with the formulation of aframework for understanding and defining organizationmulticultural competence. Based on the competence definitionfrom a structural view-point, organization multiculturalcompetence model was formed and its constituentswere identified.
